| Bio: Sue has been in Early Childhood Development for over 30 years and has been Director of UMCLC for 20 years. She is also the Director of The Early Years Center. Sue received her certification in Early Childhood from Nicholl's State University and also attended LSU and USL. Sue serves on the task force to establish new state guidelines for all preschool and day care programs. Sue also chairs the Louisiana Committee on Private Childcare for the State of Louisiana and is also a member of the National Association of Childcare Providers (NACCP), the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), the Louisiana Association for the Education of Young Children (LAEYC) as well as LACUS and CCAL, all of which are Early Childhood organizations.
